Zoe Clark is a professional dancer and dance teacher who moved into the fitness industry after attending fitness classes herself and discovering the benefits to both body and mind.
Zoe Clark graduated from Stella Mann Performing Arts College in July 2006 with a Level 6 NQF in Professional Musical Theatre and ISTD Foundation Dance Instruction in Modern Dance. The training included Singing, Drama, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Street Dance, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and other dance styles.
After attending various classes during an injury period when working as a professional performer, Zoe decided to train as a Body Balance Instructor, which then led onto training in Body Conditioning, Aerobics, Latin Grooves, Pilates and recently Pre/Post Natal exercise.
Zoe currently teaches ISTD Dance from the ages of 3 to 18 years.
"I love teaching children and seeing them improve and have fun week after week is exceptionally rewarding"
Zoe's students have a 100% pass rate in their annual ISTD dance exams with all students achieving A or B grades. Working as a choreographer on their annual show has been a real highlight.
In the past year Zoe has been teaching GCSE Dance, and while working towards the final exams she has helped the students learn and explore dance works from the world’s leading choreographers.
Since graduating, Zoe has worked as a professional lounge singer in the ski resort Val D’Isere, France and performed as the lead role and team captain in a National School touring production of Cinderella.
Zoe has an enhanced CRB check and public liability insurance as well as being a qualified first aider.
For Zoe, dance and fitness is not a part time hobby. It is a full time career, where she continuously updates her learning and knowledge so that this can be passed onto her clients then they can achieve the results they want!
"I look forward to seeing you in class soon!"
